How to dispose of Humidifier & Dehumidifier Filters

Steps

1. Wick/evaporative filters: These are not recyclable — place in regular trash.
2. Remove from the humidifier and let dry before disposing to prevent mold.
3. Clean only reusable filters using the exact method in the model’s manual. Do not wash disposable wicks unless the manufacturer expressly permits it; never mix cleaners.
