1. Cut large pool covers into manageable sections for easier disposal.
2. Vinyl and plastic covers: Check with local recycling centers — some accept clean plastic sheeting.
3. Solar covers (bubble wrap type): Generally go in regular trash as they degrade over time.
4. Schedule bulky item pickup if the cover is too large for regular trash bins.

Some recycling centers accept clean, dry vinyl pool covers. Call ahead to confirm. Heavily degraded solar covers cannot be recycled.
