• Check manometer/indicator gauge — Monthly
• Listen to fan for unusual noise — Monthly
• Retest radon levels — Every 2 years
• Inspect vent pipe for blockages — Annually

Signs it needs replacing

• Fan not running (no noise or vibration)
• Manometer shows zero pressure
• Radon test shows elevated levels
• Fan making grinding noises

Tips

If your manometer reads zero, the fan may have failed. Retest radon levels immediately.
